Dear Parents:

It gives me great pleasure to invite you to Oceanside High School's Back-to-School Night, Monday, September 24, 2012.  At that time you will be given the opportunity to meet your child's teachers.  The format of the evening is as follows:

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., you will be asked to follow your child's program for that day (Day 1).  You will travel from classroom to classroom for 10 minute periods.  For your convenience and information, a form has been enclosed in this mailing, upon which you should record your child's program - period, classroom, and teacher's name.  It is important that you get this information from your child, or the Parent Portal, as this is the schedule you must adhere to during your visit with us.  For the lunch period we invite you to the cafeteria for refreshments. Guidance counselors will be available in their offices during the evening as well.

In addition, we hope you join the PTA and are able to become active members.  The PTA is an important resource and support for our school and children.

The Oceanside High School team is proud of our educational program, our many achievements, our excellent staff and student body, and the partnership we have with you, the parents and the entire Oceanside community.  I look forward to meeting you on September 24th.
